How to Travel on a Budget

Travelling on a budget doesn’t have to be difficult but it does require some thought. The main thing is to plan and weigh up your options ahead of arrival, as this is the only real way to be able to know how much money you have to spare. Sticking to a budget while travelling is perfectly possible as long as you are willing to consider the different options available and think outside the box.

It’s often a good idea to stay somewhere that has set prices and that can offer you food, accommodation and anything else you might need, all within one package. However, if you’re staying somewhere where the cost of living is very cheap, you may be able to get more for your money by going self catering. The most important aspect of travelling on a budget is keeping records, tracking spending and working out what you can afford.
